Explanation: The assignment is subject to a framework agreement for the warehouse work (stock management, preparing material for delivery,...) and transport (to and from schools, as well as in certain cases at students' homes) of the IT hardware for Synchronous Internet education, in particular: the Bednet class and home set.
Bednet vzw enables long-term sick children to stay in touch with their home school by supporting and facilitating Synchronous Internet Education. In addition to supporting the school and the family, Bednet vzw also makes the necessary hardware available where necessary. Bednet is looking for a partner to take on the complete management of the material for 4 years and to take care of transport to and from schools.
Bednet has (rented and purchased) equipment that is used throughout the year. It currently concerns about 800 complete Bednet klassets and about 400 Bednet home sets. The Logistics Partner will be responsible for the management and storage of this material in a well-equipped warehouse and the transport of this material on demand to and from the various schools in Flanders and Brussels where Bednet is used.
