The Trust wishes to procure consumables for its two existing cerebral oximeters which are used in Cardiac Theatres.

The Trust will consider alternative machinery (and consumables) to its two existing machines and their associated consumables.

The machines and consumables are currently used in around 400 cases per year; this is likely to rise during the life of the contract.

The successful supplier will be able to demonstrate how they can maintain supply at increased levels and should be able to supply an additional (third) machine when the number of cases exceeds 500 per year.

The tender response must include whole life cost and support for the product in terms of training, technical support and supply of consumables.
