GMH | Gebäudemanagement Hamburg GmbH is a municipal company which, among other things, provides construction, operation and management services for more than 50 general education schools in the south of Hamburg (Wilhelmsburg and Harburg) as well as for buildings of the university and municipal buildings.

The Alexander-von-Humboldt-Gymnasium, which was expanded in the period from 2016 to 2019 as part of a comprehensive construction project in cooperation with the neighboring Lessing district school, is now faced with the challenge of expanding its space requirements by about 2,568.70 square meters of net floor space. This extension is to be realized and implemented in the form of a new four-storey building
