Due to flood damage to its own plant, KompostWerke Rhein-Sieg GmbH & Co. KG (hereinafter KRS) will be required to contract recovery of a partial quantity of approx. 17,000 mg/a bio-waste for an interim period in 2022 at short notice. The total service is awarded in four equal quantity lots. The following quantities are to be adopted or services provided per lot in 2022 (between 14.03.2022 and 31/12/2022):

Lot 1: Takeover, transport and recovery of 3,625 - 4,875 mg organic waste (evaluation size: 4,250 mg) (quantity lot 1)

Lot 2: Takeover, transport and recovery of 3,625 - 4,875 mg organic waste (evaluation size: 4,250 mg) (quantity lot 2)

Lot 3: Takeover, transport and recovery of 3,625 - 4,875 mg organic waste (evaluation size: 4,250 mg) (quantity lot 3)

Lot 4: Takeover, transport and recovery of 3,625 - 4,875 mg organic waste (evaluation size: 4,250 mg) (quantity lot 4)

Lots 1 to 4:

- Takeover and weighing of bio-waste at the handling point specified by the client at the Troisdorf site (or within a 10 km radius of this plant)

- Transport of the acquired organic waste to the treatment/recovery plant (s) planned by the contractor (including post-transport)

- utilisation of the acquired organic waste

- Disposal/utilization of residues/contaminants/sieve residues as well as compost/digestate

Further framework conditions:

- Technikoffene tender (composting or fermentation)

Tenderers can submit offers for one, several or all lots.

Note:

In this award procedure, the following must be taken into account with regard to award and contract execution.

The corporate structure of the Rhein-Sieg district group of companies, which is responsible for waste disposal and which also includes KompostWerke Rhein-Sieg GmbH & Co. KG (KRS for short) and the RSAG institution under public law (short: RSAG AöR), is to be simplified as part of a restructuring. Until now, the KRS has been responsible for the treatment and utilization of bio-waste.

As part of the restructuring, RSAG AöR is to take over the tasks of treating and recycling bio-waste from KRS as part of the restructuring as of 01.01.2022.

RSAG AöR is a public waste management provider and performs the waste management tasks assigned to it (see also the corresponding waste statutes).

In the context of the planned restructuring, it must be taken into account that the KRS has initiated (has) initiated the award procedure presented here, but the award and contract execution will be carried out by RSAG AöR, provided that the tasks of the KRS are transferred to RSAG AöR as of 01.01.2022. The RSAG AöR would therefore be the contractual partner of the successful bidder in the respective lot.
