The service covers the reception, registration and weigh-in of waste collection vehicles, baling of incoming paper, temporary storage of bales, and loading onto semi-trailers or into shipping containers. The estimated total quantity will be 13,000 tonnes per year, and the contracting authority will enter into parallel agreements with 2 tenderers who will handle approximately half each (approx. 6500 tonnes). It is being done in this way to enable more tenderers to submit tenders and to minimise the risk for the contracting authority.
