The working group on barrier-free communication of the state government has set itself the goal of supporting the ministries in expanding and optimizing their offers in sign language and particularly easy-to-understand language and to bring about synergy effects.
In order to achieve this goal, framework agreements should therefore be concluded in which all ministries, including their subordinate areas, as well as the representatives of the state government are involved. Provision is made for a framework contract to enable the translation of texts and forms and the explanation of notices and the like into particularly easy-to-understand language, as well as technical advice on particularly easy-to-understand language with regard to websites.
The project description in detail results from the service description.
The services to be performed by the contractor include:
a) the translation of texts (including, for example, information brochures, flyers, texts of videos) and forms into particularly easy-to-understand language and their illustrations, their verification by people with learning difficulties and the quality assurance of websites and print materials resulting from the translation;
b) the explanation within the meaning of Art. 13 BayBGG in the version from 01.01.2023 (https://www.verkuendung-bayern.de/gvbl/2020-388/) in particular of notices, general rulings, public law contracts and forms in particularly easily understandable language;
c) the professional advice and support in a structuring of the area for particularly easy-to-understand language of a website, if necessary with its own navigation as well as the professional advice and support in adapting the web design to the extent that it can depict a standardized, target group-oriented presentation for the translated texts (not meant the programming of the web design).
