The Marienstift Arnstadt is planning comprehensive digital modernization measures within the framework of the funding opportunities of the Hospital Future Act and the Hospital Future Fund.

The aim of these measures is to bring IT security up to date and to use the means available to promote the permanent further development of IT security. The basis of these IT security measures is the existing IT security concept.

The Klinikum Marienstift Arnstadt operates two separate data centers on the hospital grounds. The hardware in these two data centers is redundant.

The data centers have the following equipment relevant to the technology:

-Redundant power supply in the cabinets

-19" Serverschränke

-There is sufficient fiber optic capacity between the two data centers single mode

-There are patch panels in the 19 inch cabinets in the data centers. When network cabling is to be installed, the cabling is placed between the cabinets and data centers.

-Redundant air conditioning

-Future 2x2 VMware ESX hosts with VMware vSphere 7

Within the framework of funding element 3 of the Hospital Future Act, the hospital intends to procure the following topics:

-Acquisition of vulnerability scanners for the practical implementation of an internal hospital vulnerability analysis
