A sewage pipeline is to be established with gravity from Vevelstad residential area, which is to be connected to the main waste water pipeline from Ski to Haugbro. The connection will be in the Kongslia residential area.

The pipeline is to be laid in a rock tunnel with a cross section of approx. 26 m2. The portaling will be in the Kongslia residential area. The tunnel will be approx. 1 200 m, the most critical point will be where it crosses the stream at Vevelstad. The rock cover here is expected to be approx. 10 m. A roadway is to be established parallel to the pipeline. The pipeline will be PE. Dimension 630 mm SDR17.

The pump stations at Vevelstad and Fosstjern are to be cleared as part of the project. Large hole drilling is to be carried out from the established tunnel to both pump stations. All the sewage that currently goes to these stations will, after the project has been completed, be led via gravity through the drill holes to the tunnel and down to Kongslia. Escape shafts are to be established at the end of the tunnel and connected to the drill holes.

The tunnel goes from Kongslia (Haugbro terrace) and ends in a shaft at Vevelstad. Kongslia has access from county road 152 Langhusveien, and Vevelstad has access via Gamle Vevelstadvei and a foot/cycle path that will function as a site road during the construction period. Areas have been put aside for 2 rigging sites, which the contractor must set up. One at Kongslia and one at Vevelstad.
