The contract is awarded in the form of a framework agreement (cf. § 19 SektVO).
Framework agreements are orders that one or more clients can award to one or more companies in order to define the conditions for individual orders that are to be awarded during a certain period, in particular the envisaged price. The GöVB would like to conclude a framework agreement with a framework contract partner. The difference compared to other orders lies in the two-stage procurement process. In the first stage, the framework contract partner is selected to conclude the agreement. Once the framework agreement has been concluded, the contract is deemed to have been awarded. In the second stage, individual orders are then awarded on the basis of the framework agreement.
The Göttinger Verkehrsbetriebe GmbH (GöVB) currently intends to procure 24 battery buses with the option of rapid charging at terminal stops. The service description enclosed with the tender documents includes the technical requirements for the vehicles and the chargers. The associated charging stations are the subject of a separate service description. The vehicles are used in regular service according to fixed schedule. In normal operation, after about 35 km, between 13.5 - 15 minutes are available for recharging the energy storage. In the areas on the edge of the day, this value can increase to a maximum of 45 minutes.
