Subject matter of these works:

Restoration and repurposing of the shaft and recettegebow of the Zolder mine site. The shaft and the recette building will be restored and repurposed into an office, knowledge and training centre. Prior to the redevelopment, both the shaft and the parts of the recette building will be restored. Subsequently, offices as well as a knowledge and training centre related to XR techniques, called "XR competence point the SKIP", will be integrated into part of the recette building. A sky lounge will be set up in the head of the shaft that will be accessible by a panoramic lift.

The existing building is a protected monument and will be restored under the supervision of the RO Flanders agency:

The works forming part of this call for tenders shall include the following components

• Architectural works - restoration and renovation works

• Fluids – HVAC, sanitary equipment.

• Electrical equipment

• Liftinstallaties
