In addition to the delivery, the setup, the basic installation and the configuration of the firewall system are part of the service required for a successful implementation. It must be ensured that the running systems are 100% functional during the commissioning phase. There must be no interference with the running network environment at any time.

The network contains components from Extreme Networks, the existing security components are from Cisco and must be migrated to Palo Alto. The configuration of the legacy system is to be taken over completely. The transfer of data and configuration of the legacy system to the new Next Generation Firewall cluster is to take place in parallel operation. The switching process between the systems should be as minimal as possible.

In addition to the delivery and implementation of the tendered hardware and software, the bidder must offer a service contract with a term of 5 years for the firewall system.
