The municipality wishes to select a Contractor (alone or in combination with other parties) who is responsible for effectively and efficiently exploiting a collection point for thrift goods and a disassembly hall on the new municipal environment street of Wijk bij Duurstede.

An agreement is concluded with the Contractor for 5 years. After 5 years, the municipality can extend the agreement 2 times by 3 years (so the maximum contract duration is 11 years). The motivation for this longer duration is the fact that setting up the Contractor's facility requires it to invest in the facility at the outset. Both in time and in resources. The payback period of this investment has been taken into account when determining the duration of the contract.
