Where software vendors are prepared to supply via a reseller, there is the additional flexibility for Jisc (a member of LUPC) to run a mini-competition on behalf of members for each new/renewed Chest Software Agreement via Lot 4. Under this model, Jisc would act as the conduit for member institutions to place their order with Jisc which will then place back-to-back or consolidated orders [under their own pre-procured Chest Software Agreement] with the reseller for onward transmission to the vendor.
