District heating Lower Rhine is expanding its district heating network in Voerde. In this context, the district heating networks of Vörde-Stadt and Voerde-Friedrichsfeld are to be linked together. The network connection will be established over a total distance of approximately 4,700 m in 2 sections. The district heating line is to be routed in DN 250/450 (once reinforced) and is accompanied by a DN 100 plastic cable protection pipe. The first section will be approximately 2 200 m long and the second section will be about 2,500 m long. The section described here is the second one and is also referred to as BA II.

The start of BAII will begin in the Kiwitt industrial park at the border branch, where the BAI and BAII will be merged.

The further route is planned through the industrial park, along the Heideweg, partly in the park strip or sidewalk. At the end of the Heideweg, the line is moved further to the right into Am Industriepark on the right-hand side to the B8 (Hindenburgstr.).

In front of the traffic light, the Am Industriepark road is crossed by steel protection pipe pressures DN 600 and DN 150 (for control cables) and the product pipe (250/450) is drawn in. The further course is planned along the B8 (Hindenburgstr.) on the left to Heidestr.

At Heidestr. the line divides in 2 directions, on the one hand, in DN 250/450, via the B8 (Hindenburgstr.) into Heidestr. and further along the B8 (Hindenburgstr.) direction, in DN 125/250 Grüner Weg.

For the direction towards Heidestr. the B8 (Hindenburgstr.) must be pressed through again with a DN 600 steel protection pipe in which the product pipe is then retracted. On the eastern side of the B8 (Hindenburgstr.), the district heating line is moved to Heidestr. for about 80 m and connected to the existing line behind house No. 132.

The second direction is continued into the land of the residential building Dinslaken up to the Green Way. The district heating line is connected to the existing line on the Green Way.
