The University of Oslo would like to employ a construction company with experience from similar construction work related to the renovation of the facade and restructuring the 3rd floor of the Norwegian Institute in Rome (DNIR).

The aim of this project is to carry out necessary work in order to ensure and preserve the climate shell of the main building of the Norwegian Institute of Rome, known as the facade project. In addition there is a separate description for the internal renovation on the 3rd floor. All the work will be combined in one contract and will be announced together.

The building was constructed in 1928 and renovated in 1962 with two extra floors (3rd and 4th floors). The Norwegian Institute in Rome (DNIR) is protected (externally) in accordance with Decreto Legislative 42/2004 and covered by § 25 in Norme tecniche di attuazione in Rome's development plan 'Tessuti della città storica'.
