With this Contract we aim to replace and upgrade our X-ray diffraction (XRD) facilities. XRD directly relates to the following Sector Plan focal points: Multifunctional properties and Multiphysics Systems (discipline Mechanical Engineering), Functional Materials (disciplines Physics and Chemistry), Energy & Sustainability (disciplines Physics and Chemistry), as well as (Bio)catalysis (Chemistry). XRD instrumentation is also used by students from the degree programs Physics, Nanoscience, Chemistry, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering and Management.
