Through this invitation to apply for qualification, MBN cordially invites interested parties to apply for qualification to tender for a contract for operation and maintenance (O&M) for 400/150/33kV substation Råbäcken and 150kV overhead lines (OHL). The substation Råbäcken is jointly owned by MBN and Svenska Kraftnät (SvK). The assignment does not include SvK parts of the station. Within the scope of the assignment, the supplier shall manage the operation and maintenance of the transformer station Råbäcken. The station has 3 transformers (400,625,800 MVA) and two overhead lines each 30 km long (150kV). Outdoors there is a 400 / 150kV switchgear which is to some extent shared with SvK. Markbygden Net owns and is responsible for 6 pieces of 400kV circuit breakers with current and voltage measurement, and 24 pieces of 150kV circuit breakers with current and voltage measurement, as well as a capacitor battery. Inside the building, there is a 33kV switchgear from ABB with 14 switches that have their own relay protection, and their own measurement for charging customers. Relay protection units (IED) are generally products from ABB and Siemens. There is also a DC system (110VDC) with two battery banks. Communication takes place via fibre for longer distances along the power line to the wind farms, or with copper cable internally in the station building.
