The SKBS plans to introduce a clinic-wide SSO solution in the context of Identity and Access Management (IAM).

The SKBS plans to introduce a clinic-wide SSO solution in the context of Identity and Access Management (IAM). The aim of this project is to enable the approx. 4,000 employees with an SSO procedure to log into the IT systems to be used in a simplified, personalized and secure manner. All SKBS employees have their own account. In the course of this project, a possible further reduction or adjustment of existing collection / station accounts for individual applications is planned. To simplify the login process and increase security, authentication via tokens / smart cards with appropriate reading devices is provided. The SSO solution should also be usable with the existing virtual desktop solution VMWare Horizon and the other existing technical infrastructure.
