The purpose of this contract is the supply of chemical fluxes for the winter treatment of the cycling, road and motorway networks of the Brussels-Capital Region on behalf of the Brussels Regional Public Service, the Brussels Intercommunal Transport Company (STIB) and the municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region.

In these special specifications, 'order' means the partial order made to the successful tenderer by the managing official. This must amount to at least, in bulk to 15 tons or be a multiple of 15 tons, in bags with 1 pallet consisting of about 49 bags of 25 kg or a multiple of pallets, and in big bags from 1 big bag of 1 tonne.

All orders placed during the period of validity of this market are taken into account.

Delivery is understood to mean each load of a vehicle, truck or boat.

Several delivery methods are planned.

The purpose of the contract divided into 4 (four) lots is:

Lot 1: supply of refined sodium chloride.

Lot 2: supply of sodium chloride with spread particle size.

Lot 3: supply of calcium chloride (77%) and brine at 33% by weight of calcium chloride.

Lot 4: supply of a 50% solution by weight of potassium acetate.

Training in French and Dutch in the use of chemical deicing agents for snow removal for 15 users is also part of lot 1 of this contract and will be included in the amount of the tender.
