The task concerns the delivery of a complete mechanical/chemical flotation plant for pre-treatment of wastewater at Sæby Wastewater Treatment Plant from the company Danish Crown.

This tender from Frederikshavn Spildevand A/S (hereinafter "the contracting entity" or "the developer") is part of the fact that the wastewater from Danish Crown will in future be pre-treated separately at Sæby Wastewater Treatment Plant. The developer wants the industrial wastewater to be treated below the special contribution limit before it is subsequently treated at the existing Sæby Wastewater Treatment Plant. The delivery must include a "total" machinery, a mechanical/chemical flotation plant including associated components (pumps, piping, valves, switchboards, control, chemical and polymer tanks, instrumentation), delivered installed, commissioned and commissioned.

The developer wants to ensure a stable and robust process where security is included. Safety in relation to capacities/uptime and how pre-cleaning can be maintained during any breakdown of mechanical installations is also an important parameter for the developer. Finally, a good working environment for operational staff is important.

The pre-cleaning is carried out taking into account what technology the Offeror wishes to offer. It is assessed that the sludge must be sold for biogasification by commercial suppliers or for the production of biodiesel, and possibly existing digesters at Frederikshavn Wastewater Treatment Plant.
