Description of the contract
In order for municipalities to meet the challenges of the future regarding welfare with the help of digitalization and new technology, a stable but at the same time flexible and innovative IT platform is required in the municipality. Technical development, delivery models in the form of cloud services, legal requirements and more are constantly changing, which places high demands on the municipality to deliver IT services in the most cost-effective way possible. This procurement is intended to cover the contracting authority's need for a strategic partner, an IT partner who delivers licenses, services, skills and development, as well as products and its accessories. This means a deeper collaboration between the municipality and a partner, where the partner is seen as a strategic resource in development issues around IT. The partner shall offer a complete range and support in both the management and purchase of IT-related goods and services, currently and future needs. The ambition of this agreement is that the partner can take partial responsibility and, together with the contracting authority, achieve the requirements for continuous development and adaptation of the IT environment in a modern society. To achieve the above effect, a framework agreement is signed that includes the possibility of changing both products and development of IT functions over time.
