On the property next to Wolfgang-Bangert-Straße 8 in 34134 Kassel is the 110/10 kV Dönche substation of Städtische Werke Netz + Service GmbH. In one room of the substation there is an air-insulated 10 kV DSS switchgear, set up in two rows. The busbars of the system series are connected by longitudinal separations. The aim of the overall measure is to replace the 10 kV switchgear with a new air-insulated 10 kV switchgear with plug-in technology.

An air-insulated medium-voltage switchgear with plug-in technology is to be delivered, assembled and handed over ready for operation in the existing medium-voltage switchgear room of the Wall switching station.
