For the Gelsenkirchen-Schalke-Nord urban renewal area, the contract is to be awarded to support private owners in the repair and modernisation of their properties. Activating owner consultations must be carried out, but the architectural services do not replace and/or compete with fee-based consulting services. Rather, an activating "basic consultation" on the type and scope of desired repair and modernization measures, on funding opportunities and financing and, if necessary, a referral to other consulting and planning service providers should take place. Important in the consultation and appraisal of the property are the connection with the urban environment and the preservation of urban planning and architectural qualities. Furthermore, the service provides for the support of the house and yard area program (from application advice to the implementation of the measures).
For the provision of the services, close cooperation with the team of the Schalke-Nord district office and the municipal program management is expected.
A time quota of 630 hours per year / 14 hours per week is set for the provision of the service.
