Karmsund Havn IKS (Karmsund Port Inter-Municipal Company) has experienced a sharp increase in the amount of traffic in recent years. The future forecasts continue to show an increase, and this creates a need for a mobile harbour crane. It is desirable to have the new crane in place at our terminal at:

— Haugesund Cargo Terminals,

—Husøy,

— Karmøy Kommune, as soon as possible and preferably no later than 1.1.2019. It may also be necessary to purchase two cranes, of the same type. One of the cranes offered may be a pre-used crane. Karmsund Havn also wants an option for a further 3 harbour cranes, so that the tender overall can include 5 harbour cranes, delivered by 2025. The options will not be weighted for the procurement. If the options are triggered, it is possible that the crane size may vary from the offered crane. The options are not binding and Karmsund Havn can select another supplied by announcing a new tender.
