Norfors wishes to enter into a framework agreement concerning the pre-treatment and recycling of organic waste (source-sorted organic municipal waste - hereinafter referred to as "KOD") collected by Norfor's stakeholder municipalities.

The framework agreement is for one year, with the possibility of extension by one year.

Norfors' catchment area consists of 4 stakeholder municipalities: Allerød, Fredensborg, Hørsholm and Rudersdal.

Norfors' stakeholder municipalities have approximately 149,000 inhabitants divided into approximately 66,000 households, which is the subject of this requirement specification. (Source: Inhabitants and number of households according to Statistics Denmark as of 1 January 2020.)

As a starting point, containers with KOD will be emptied at least every 2 weeks, where they will be collected together with other source sorted waste in 2-chamber cars, where the KOD amount is assumed to be approx. 3 tons per. car on average.
