Kristinehamn municipality intends to procure digital lock units that are administered via digital access control and associated pharmaceutical cabinets. The medicine cabinets will be used in special housing, group housing and ordinary housing. The purpose is to restrict access to medicines and, if necessary, to obtain information about who has opened the medicine cabinet and when the medicine cabinet has been opened.

At a later stage, the solution should be possible to build on with locking devices intended for other types of use cases such as:

- locking units intended for apartment doors in the municipality's special accommodations- locking units intended for doors to office spaces- locking units for selectable or fixed personnel cabinets
