This contract concerns the delivery of manual image processing.
The contracting authority has a computer system with images of vehicles where the registration number and country code are entered/
registered manually.
This contract concerns the delivery of manual image processing. Vehicles are
registered by roadside equipment when they drive through a toll gate. The registration takes place
either through the vehicle's AutoPASS chip (also called OBE) or through images of
the registration number taken by one or more cameras.
The images are then processed by an automated number plate recognition (ANPR) system. If
the system is not able to recognise the number plate on the vehicle in the image,
the image must be processed manually. I.e., the registration number and country code are entered/
registered manually. All images are stored in the image database on the contracting authority's
platform. The service will be provided in the EU/EEA area.
