Biblioteket.se has been in its current form since 2011 in response to the need for library-related services online, ie a library that is open 24/7 and accessible to everyone. Today, information and literature are as much in digital channels as in traditional printed form and the library faces major challenges and needs to be constantly evolved to meet the demand for new knowledge and new forms of information exchange.

Scope of the assignment
The assignment primarily includes development work of the new platform, which includes a number of different services, mainly the website, but also apps, digital signage solutions, etc.
The assignment includes two system developers (both front-end and back-end) full-time (100%). During the execution of the assignment, there will be a need to focus on the different phases of the project. This means that some competence may be used to a greater extent during different parts of the project.
In the first instance, the assignment will be carried out together with Statistics Sweden's development team at the City Library, Sveavägen 73.
Contract and contract time
The project starts in September 2019 and runs until December 31, 2020. This recruitment applies to two full-time system developers during the period September 2019-December 2019 with possible extension.
The agreement is valid until December 2019. The Cultural Administration then has the opportunity to extend the agreement as long as possible until 2020-12-31, divided into two extensions.
Renewal of the agreement must be announced no later than one (1) month before the extension is to take effect.
