Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of Insurance Coverage and associated services but excluding broking services. The provisions of a full range of insurance (in part or as a whole) normally purchased by a unitary authority in England. In addition the Authority is seeking to place a range of insurance covers for a wholly owned subsidiary of the Authority, Public Power Solutions Ltd. The subsidiary manages the recycling activity of the Authority including the production of dried product manufactured from kerbside waste. The production process uses hot air only and does not produce any liquid or volatile gaseous emissions. The subsidiary is also active in renewable energy market, acting as a facilitator for those wishing to establish sustainable energy facilities.
