The purchaser is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this ITT for the provision of a general (residual) and recyclate waste disposal service at Lancaster University.

This tender is split into two lots: Lot 1 — General (Residual) Waste and Lot 2 — Recyclate waste Suppliers can bid for either or both lots and must indicate what lots they are bidding for. You only need to fill out Schedule 3 once but must complete each section relevant for the lot you are bidding for. Bids are welcome from any organisation able to provide the service for the lot it is bidding for.

The purchaser is seeking to procure the services of a waste contractor to collect, transfer and treat/recover/recycle and dispose of general (residual) waste across Lancaster University's main campus at Bailrigg and its Lancaster city centre residences at Chancellors Wharf, Aldcliffe Road. Please see below for the previous annual waste quantities:

14/15 — 1418 tonnes.

15/16 — 1423 tonnes.

Lot 2 — Recyclate Waste:

The purchaser is seeking to procure the services of a waste contractor to collect, transfer and recycle segregated recyclates at Lancaster University's main campus at Bailrigg and its Lancaster city centre residences at Chancellors Wharf, Aldcliffe Road. Lancaster University generated 345-350 tonnes of segregated recyclates annually in 2014-15 and 2015-16.
