This is a joint tender for the UMCs listed below. The tender concerns deliveries of biosafety cabinets with two filters. The participating UMCs are:

- AMC,

- Erasmus MC,

- LUMC,

- Radboudumc (an independent part of SKU).

To this end, UMC wishes to conclude a framework agreement with one entrepreneur for a period of four years jointly, but personalized per house, with an option to extend two x two years.

The UMCs want to standardize the purchase of BMS. The UMCs want high-quality BMS that meet all safety standards, which have a lifespan of at least ten years, are energy efficient, produce a noise of <57 dB and are ergonomically sound. The supplier must be logistically able to deliver the BMS to the UMCs within ten to twelve weeks after the order.

- Academic Medical Centre,

- Erasmus MC,

- Leiden University Medical Center,

- Radboudumc (an independent part of SKU).

In this quotation request, the Contracting Entities are referred to collectively as "UMC" both collectively and individually. Academic Medical Center is secretary and therefore in principle a single point of contact for interested parties and registrants. To this end, UMC wishes to conclude a framework agreement with one entrepreneur for a period of four years jointly, but personalized per house, with an option to extend two x two years.

Reason for the assignment

In the UMCs, biosafety cabinets (BMS) with two filters are used for various purposes. These BMS are spread over different laboratories spread over different organizational units. With this tender, the UMCs want to standardize the purchase of BMS.

Purpose of the assignment

By means of this tender, the UMCs wish to standardize the purchase of BMS. The UMCs want high-quality BMS that meet all safety standards, which have a lifespan of at least ten years, are energy efficient, produce a noise of <57 dB and are ergonomically sound.

The supplier must be able to logistically deliver the BMS to the UMCs within ten to twelve weeks after the order. The supplier must also act as a partner of the UMCs to work together on the further optimization of purchasing, logistics and billing processes.
