Description:
Award, through integrated contract, of the executive design and works necessary for the realization of the electrification interventions of the docks (Cold Ironing) in the Port of Livorno

The contract consists in the construction of the electrical distribution system necessary for the supply of ships from shore in the port of Livorno, including the burden of maintenance for four years.

The project involves the construction of a substation within the Enel area of the former Marzocco power plant and two conversion cabins serving ferries and cruises respectively, the first to be located inside the current silos and the second cabin to be positioned in the cruise terminal area near the Calata Alto Fondale. For the part of the facilities serving container ships, a cabin will be built near the final section of the SGC FI-PI-LI. The remaining part of the systems consists of cable ducts and cables between substations/cabins and cabins/dock sockets, made completely underground and not visible.
