The city of Deggendorf is planning the construction of the new elementary school (GS) Theodor Eckert. The school is expected to be realized as a 3-course primary school with grades 1-4. However, the speed has yet to be finally agreed by the client with the government of Lower Bavaria.

The school profile inclusion model is to be implemented integrated into this speed. The necessary premises must be included in the plan. Areas for lunch are to be provided, whereby the food must be delivered and distributed accordingly.

Access is within walking distance of the future, car-free east-west axis running past to the north.

Underneath the school building, there will be an underground car parking/parking garage, where parking spaces for people working in the school will be accommodated. These pitches can be used in the evening by the clubs that play their sports in the double gymnasium. Access is from the south from the pandure path.

In the appendix is a framework plan that depicts the entire “Klosterviertel” district. This plan shows the locations of primary school and gymnasium. These serve as construction windows for the required planning; the two buildings are to be located in these areas while respecting the urban development qualities of the framework plan. The framework plan also shows the height development of both buildings, which should be understood as a suggestion. The current altitude level is also specified in the framework plan, and planning must be coordinated with this.

In general, planning must be made sustainably and with ecological aspects in mind. Saving energy and the associated CO2 is very important. Significant use of wood as a building material is desired, a hybrid construction is conceivable.

West of the building plot is the unique monument “Kapuzinerstadl”. The concerns of monument protection must be taken into account during planning.

According to Bavaria Atlas, there are soil monuments in the immediate vicinity of the building plot. Archaeological excavations will be carried out on site in spring 2022 in advance.

The total cost of the measure is estimated at roughly EUR 20 million net (KG 200-700). The relevant costs for ELT services are estimated as follows: KG 440: EUR 1.1 million and KG 450: EUR 0.4 million

Planning should start immediately after the contract has been awarded (presumably in summer 2022). The planned start of construction is planned for spring 2024, and the planned building completion is to take place by the end of 2025. The final settlement should be completed by mid-2026.
