Stadtwerke Tübingen is planning the construction of an underground car park for short-term parking and a bicycle underground car park with around 900 parking spaces on behalf of the university city of Tübingen in the course of redesigning the Europaplatz and restructuring the station area.
A bicycle station with service facilities for mobility, general areas and a cafe will be built. The buildings can be reached as a coherent basement.
For the construction, the construction of a cohesive construction pit with shoring measures is planned, which will be carried out as a Berlin shoring (girder / screed shoring) and to a lesser extent with bored pile walls. The underground car park and the bicycle station are based on bored piles to protect against buoyancy. The components in the ground, such as the floor slab, outer walls and ramps, are planned as a WU construction. Other components such as inner walls made of reinforced concrete or masonry; Ceiling TG as a reinforced concrete ceiling. The ceiling of the underground garage parts has a mastic asphalt seal with a protective layer (ballast base layer). Backfilling of the work rooms is carried out using the excavated material (partly excavated in classes Z1.1 / 1.2 / 2.0 and possibly DK classes).
