Since the last thorough renovation of the castle in the 1960s, the castle has been used as a museum. In order to be able to use part of the rooms as a meeting place, a fire protection renovation is necessary. Together with the SSG - State Palaces and Gardens - a first draft for a new museum concept was developed. In addition to the other renovation measures, this is to be implemented together with exhibition planners.
The building covers approx. 1,700 m
The total construction costs are EUR 9 500 000 gross.
The renovation / building costs (KG 300 + 400 without gardens and museum installations) amount to around 6,702,217.00 EUR gross / building price index II / 2020 130.60.
The main features of the draft, which has already been agreed with the monument office, should be adopted by the applicants.
Experience in the areas of renovation under monument protection law and fire protection is essential, experience in the area of exhibition planning is desirable.
Construction is scheduled for October 2021 to September 2024.
