Westfalen Weser Netz GmbH (WWN) operates in its own grid area in the market roles of distribution system operator (DSO) for the electricity and gas divisions as well as in the market role of metering point operator (MSB) with basic responsibility. In addition, WWN provides services for two other municipal utilities (hereinafter referred to as "Agency/GSB") in the market role of VNB and MSB (gas division only).
The subject of the present award procedure is the procurement of services in a BPaaS model for the market roles DSO and MSB (electricity and gas), as well as for the GSB in the market role DSO and MSB (gas division) as well as an upstream transition project.
The specifications associated with this tender serve to describe technical and functional requirements for the procurement of BPO services together with the necessary transition of Westfalen Weser Netz GmbH (hereinafter also referred to as WWN or client or AG) within the framework of the project "Energy Industry Shared Service Processes (T-Netz)".

With regard to the relevance of the scope of services to be awarded to the company as a whole, WWN expects a future contractor to have a high degree of competence and expertise in the implementation of BPaaS services, a professional model of cooperation as well as professional IT service management processes, an open attitude towards innovations for process optimization and digitization, and a focus on qualitative, lean and cost-efficient processes.

The same performance requirements apply to GSB in the VNB and MSB market role as to the AG's VNB and MSB market role in the gas division.
In addition, the higher-level services of reporting and input/output management are requested.
