The tender includes a framework agreement for the purchase of plumbing and ventilation for Statens Serum Institut. On 1 May 2024, responsibility for the above services will pass to Statens Facility Management (SFM). The present framework agreement therefore only covers the part of the buildings at SSI which, due to special circumstances, will not be transferred to SFM. Special conditions apply, for example, in buildings with laboratories. In addition to the daily operation and maintenance of the covered buildings, there is continuous renewal and expansion of the building stock. The framework agreement also covers smaller contracts (projects) where the services have a total value of less than DKK 1,000,000 excl. VAT. The framework agreement, including the general provisions for construction (AB 18 Simplified) with the derogations listed in Appendix 6, constitutes the overall contractual basis between the parties for the performance of services covered by the framework agreement.

Statens Serum Institut has a total area of about 110,000 m2 with about 75 different buildings. The work includes preventive, remedial and sustaining maintenance of the Client's building stock both inside and out. The work includes common plumbing and ventilation work, such as new installations, repairs and balancing of systems. This means that there are special quarantine requirements in connection with contact with rodents and that the Supplier's performing employees are obliged to undergo the SSI's vaccination programme and associated health examinations. In addition to the daily operation and maintenance of the covered buildings, there is continuous renewal and expansion of the building stock. The framework agreement also covers smaller contracts (projects) where the services have a total value of less than DKK 1,000,000 excl. VAT.
