High and very high risk pressure ulcer mattresses

High- and very high-risk pressure ulcer mattresses are the subject of the acquisition. As a rule, mattresses are purchased by renting on a daily basis up to a longer term rental period, as well as purchased on their own.

This is a joint acquisition, the parties to which are described in this call for tender below. For the parties involved in this RFQ, the abbreviation subscriber is used below.

The contract period is two (2) years and can be extended with two (2) one (1) year options. The subscriber decides to deploy the option periods separately.

The object of the acquisition and its requirements are described in detail in the call for tender and its annexes.

Adult variable pressure mattresses, hire

Position 1 targets are rented adult variable pressure high and very high risk pressure wound mattresses. Mattresses are used in intensive care and bed rest patients for the prevention of pressure ulcers. The rental includes maintenance and cleaning service and necessary transportation.

The rental mattress is ordered either directly from a selected contract partner whenever necessary, or utilizes a mattress storage in the hospital to which mattresses have been supplied by the contracting partner.

In addition, additional products offered as an option/complementary products with low procurement volumes estimated to be limited. Additional products include mattresses for weighty patients, as well as mattresses for various posture treatments. Offering these is not mandatory, but they can be included as contract products.

The goal of the procurement contract is to have a comprehensive range of mattresses for the needs of patients. The subscriber selects three (3) vendors for this section with which it contracts.

Children's mattresses, hire and purchase

Position 3 targets high and very high risk pressure wound mattresses for children and babies. Mattresses are used in intensive care and bed rest patients for the prevention of pressure ulcers.

Mattresses are both rented and bought for their own. The rental includes maintenance and cleaning service and necessary transportation. It is possible to obtain a separate cleaning service or maintenance service for the purchase mattress if necessary.

The rental mattress is ordered either directly from a selected contract partner whenever necessary, or utilizes a mattress storage in the hospital to which mattresses have been supplied by the contracting partner.

In addition, additional products offered as an option/complementary products with low procurement volumes estimated to be limited. Additional products include high and very high risk pressure ulcer mattresses suitable for pediatric use. Offering these is not mandatory, but they can be included as contract products.
