Rheingoldhallen GmbH and Co KG (short: RGKG), Hechtsheimer Straße 37, 55131 Mainz, is planning the conversion and renovation of the City Hall car park, Rheinstraße 66, 55116 Mainz. This includes, among other things, the establishment of new technical centers, from which the car park is to be supplied independently by the town hall and Rheingoldhalle. Due to the damage patterns, extensive concrete renovation is required. A new sprinkler control center will also be produced and the lighting system will be completely renewed. As part of the renovation, the ventilation system of the underground car park will also be renewed.

The car park is located in Mainz right next to the Rheingoldhalle. Access is via Rheinstrasse. The car park was built in the late 1960s as a solid reinforced concrete structure. It has 4 parking levels with a total of 545 parking spaces.

The conversion and renovation of the multi-storey car park is taking place in a complete closure.

Construction work is carried out by several trades. Coordination and coordination of the construction process between the contractor is required.
