Design and supply of supervision, power supply, and control equipment for the Mayotte cabled underwater observatory, including subsea I&C systems, terrestrial power and control systems, electrical and optical simulators, test and validation systems, and a supervision system with human-machine graphical interfaces.
Supervision, power supply and control system for the Mayotte cabled underwater observatory

The purpose of this contract is for the design and manufacture of various supervision, power supply and control equipment. These services will mainly be used for the cable underwater observatory project in Mayotte. However, they may also be ordered as part of any other action/project carried out by Ifremer during the duration of the contract.

The purpose of this contract is the following services:

1° Design, supply and configuration of a subsea I&C system for several scientific instruments (junction box including electronics and mechanical enclosure).

2° Design, supply and configuration of a submarine instrumentation and control system for a scientific instrument (converter including electronics and mechanical enclosure).

3° Design, supply and configuration of a two-channel subsea I&C system (Power Management Unit including electronics and mechanical enclosure).

4° Design, supply and configuration of a two-channel terrestrial power and control system (land system including electronics, power supplies and containerizations).

5° Design, supply and configuration of electrical and optical simulators for each segment of submarine electro-optical cable, necessary for the acceptance and verification of the operation and performance of the equipment.

6° Test and validation systems: physical and/or software tools necessary for the acceptance and verification of the operation and performance of the equipment to be delivered.

7° Design of a supervision system, integrated human-machine graphical interfaces (HMI) to control the proposed equipment. It also allows the recording of data (metrics, alarms, logs, etc.) from the observatory's infrastructure (not from connected scientific instruments).

8° Supply of spare parts for equipment and maintenance services.

9° Additional study and/or testing services.
