The service to be performed concerns: the recycling of paper and cardboard collected by ILvA, door-to-door and at the recycling parks at an address specified by the contractor, or it is collected by the contractor at the transhipment point of ILvA.

After collection, the paper and cardboard are presented for recycling in one mixed fraction.

Within the framework of these specifications and taking into account all legal provisions, recycling is defined as follows: "any recovery operation (including separation of paper & cardboard) by which waste is reprocessed into products, materials or substances, for the original purpose or for another purpose. This includes the reprocessing of organic waste, but it does not include energy recovery, nor reprocessing into materials intended to be used as fuel or as backfilling material.'

In concrete terms, the tenderer must demonstrate that he is at least transforming the waste into a raw material that can be used directly for the production of finished products.

This assignment concerns the recycling of paper and cardboard collected by ILvA. The paper and cardboard will be delivered by ILvA to the address of processing indicated by the contractor.
