The construction work includes:

A new watershed bridge is being built on Highway 4 to the north of the current Jeesiöjoki Bridge. The current bridge will be demolished and the river's swimming will be modified at the site of the demolished bridge to its original width. A new light traffic underpass will be built at Koivuå, under the highway. The underpass is a type of element construction perimeter bridge. Only a preliminary general drawing of the bridge has been drawn up in the road design phase and no separate building plan has been drawn up. The groundstudies, design and construction of the bridge S2 are part of the work.

The highway enters a new road line c. 0.6 km en route. Highway 4 will be wracked as a road under sectional 9/7. Light traffic lanes will be built on both sides of the highway for the entire planning portion of the journey. A pair of bus stops will be built in connection with the birch alley underpass. A waterfront sober link will be built at the southern end of the Jeesiöjoki bridge on the Forest Vainiontie. A stormwater pumping station will be built in connection with Bridge S2. New lighting will be built on Highway 4 throughout the design area. Special lighting will be built on the bridge of the Jeesiöjoki under the lighting plan.
