Coventry University wishes to conduct a restricted European tender to award a new contract for its waste disposal services.

The new contract shall begin on the 1.4.2014 for an initial 2 period, with the option to extend for two additional one year periods based on performance of the contract. The estimated value of the contract is GBP 120k per year.

The agreement shall cover Coventry University Higher Education Corporation group (CUHECG) which is based within Coventry University's city centre campus and includes Coventry University's Technology Park which is operated by Coventry University Enterprises Ltd (CUE).

The contract will primarily require the removal of general waste and recycling from bins and compactors with requirement for skip and clinical waste removal.
