A framework agreement is to be concluded with a contractual partner, with which the basic conditions for individual orders to be awarded in the period from 01.05.2022 to 30.04.2026 are set out. The individual orders include the delivery of test kits to detect the African swine fever virus using real-time PCR. The tests must be approved by the Friedrich Löffler Institute as in vitro diagnostic medical devices in accordance with Section 11 (2) of the Animal Health Act and include all components for performing real-time PCR, including detection of the pathogen, the detection of endogenous control and the detection of exogenous control. According to the current legal status, an estimated need for test kits for 40,000 PCR reactions during the contract period is assumed. However, the award of a certain minimum number of individual orders or the acceptance of a certain minimum quantity of products during the contract period is not agreed.
