Utrecht University of Applied Sciences invites interested market parties to participate in the tender “Oral Care Treatment Units” on the basis of a European public procedure, as laid down in the Procurement Act 2012.

The purpose of this tender is to select and contract one suppliers to supply 48 treatment units during the agreement and to carry out the maintenance on the treatment units to be delivered.

The contract is awarded to the tenderer who has issued the tender with the best price-quality ratio.

Utrecht University of Applied Sciences invites interested market parties to participate in the tender “Oral Care Treatment Units” on the basis of a European public procedure, as laid down in the Procurement Act 2012.

Substantive objectives are:

- Obtaining treatment units that meet our requirements and wishes including maintenance;

- the conclusion of a lawful Agreement;

- concluding an Agreement with clear quality agreements (for example, treatment units must be cleanable according to the guideline infection prevention oral care practices (2016 KNMT);

- concluding an Agreement with clear maintenance agreements;

- concluding an Agreement with sufficient flexibility to decrease more /less if the situation calls for it (such as a move or a strong change in student numbers).

The procurement objective is to achieve a single Framework Agreement for the duration of up to 8 years (this includes options years). The initial maturity will be 2 years, with the possibility to extend 3 times by 2 years thereafter. A term of 8 years is in line with the depreciation of the treatment units and gives enough time to complete the replacement cycle. In this way, it is ensured that there is no great variation in treatment units, so that explanations to students remain unambiguous.
