The town of Coulommiers, in a group of orders with the SIAEP of Boissy-le-Châtel - Chauffry wants to build a new drinking water treatment plant to supply the towns of Coulommiers, Boissy-le-Châtel and Chauffry. The construction of this new plant at the eastern exit of the city requires the construction of connecting pipes for raw water and treated water. The current drinking water production plant will be demolished as soon as the new plant is put into operation. The purchase procedure is the subject of 3 lots, devolved through separate consultations:

- lot n o 1: construction of raw water and treated water networks,

- lot n o 2: construction of a water treatment plant for human consumption,

- lot n o 3: demolition of the existing plant this consultation concerns only,

- lot n o 2: construction of a water treatment plant for human consumption.

The future plant of Coulommiers will have a treatment capacity of about 300 m 3 / H. Drinking water will be produced from water from different boreholes and a source. The main parameters to be treated are: fluorides, arsenic, iron, manganese, strontium, ammonium, pesticides, nitrates, hardness, turbidity and microbiological parameters. The envisaged water treatment system may use physicochemical type processes (for example with lime), but also by adsorption on activated carbon (in grain and / or powder) and filtration (on sand or materials). mixed). The treatment process of sludge from water treatment, may allow several recovery channels (not fixed at this stage, but agricultural valorization is a solution to consider).
