The main purpose of this call for tender called ‘Functional indicators computation tool’ is to conclude a service contract that shall support the scientific platform and tools, foreseen in the framework of the ESPON 2013 Programme, Priority 3. This call for tender aims at selecting a service provider able to develop a practical and user-friendly application for producing innovative indicators related to Territorial Cohesion Policy at European and regional levels. In particular, these indicators take into account the effect of transportation networks on the comparative advantages of places or territories and allow benchmarking regions and cities in Europe.
