The Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Technology and Bioeconomy e.V. intends to purchase 2 identical laboratory scale test benches for anaerobic degradation of residues from elements of bioeconomic production systems for biogas production. In order to establish sustainable bioeconomic production systems, a comprehensive understanding of the process of biogas production, including all technical, chemical and microbiological parameters, is of great importance. Since the anaerobic degradation of biomass to biogas is carried out exclusively by microorganisms, this goal can only be achieved if the systemically important microorganisms in terms of their functions (substance change performance and ecology) as well as the reaction of the occurring microbiomes to varying management measures, including Sensitivity, resilience or resistance of indicative taxa to a highly variable process are extensively researched.
Below you will find a compilation of the required applications and specific requirements (minimum criteria) for the test benches for anaerobic degradation of residues from elements of bioeconomic production systems for biogas production with automated input material supply and gas volume measurement.
