The Surrey Police Authority acting as the lead force for a collaborative contract with Sussex** and Hampshire Police, is seeking expressions of interest for the provision of digital forensic services.

This service includes gathering, analysing, preserving and reporting on data and/or images retrieved from various digital media devices. The results of which need to be reported in a format which is acceptable as evidence in a Court of Law.

On occasions the Contractor/s will be expected to attend Court as an expert witness and provide forensic analysts for on-site scene attendance.

The framework agreement is being established for use by Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire Police.

** It is unknown whether Sussex Police will have any budget to outsource any digital forensic services for financial year 2013/2014 and beyond.
