The municipalities of Høyanger, Hyllestad, Fjaler, Askvoll and Naustdal, hereafter called the Contracting Authority/Customer, invite tenderers to a negotiated procedure in connection with the procurement of patient signalling systems and sensor technology. The agreement shall be a framework agreement between the Contracting Authority's Contract partner and a Tenderer and shall form the basis for purchasing to a total of 17 entities.
The patient signalling system will be an important function in the Contracting Authority's future monitoring in relation to collecting all types of signals to a central monitoring of care and nursing homes, sheltered accommodations and private homes, where the residents require extra safety/assurance.
In this phase the Contracting Authority is focused on the new system being future oriented and in-line with The Norwegian Directorate of Health's guidelines in regard to the use of safety alarms and future introduction of Welfare technology.
The procurement shall assist care and nursing homes owned by the Contracting Authority in having a standardised, secure and cost-efficient operating systems. The systems shall fulfil the laws, rules and regulations. The offered systems shall support options for central monitoring and operation, so that pro-activity and early error recovery can be carried out.
Through the company SYS ICT, the municipalities have established a joint operational services agreement for the operation of municipal IT systems. In order to have a contract partner to deal with, the company is elected to be a purchasing body and have contract management of all affiliated municipal care and nursing homes.
